Kluster Krystals Megaclusters is a beautifully designed slot with a sort of ancient cosmic theme. The transparent reels are set between two stone pillars and the Northern Lights can be seen in the background. The grid is 5x5 in size and there are just five standard symbols, which appear as different-coloured crystals. Each symbol has four different versions: single, double, triple and quad. A single counts as one symbol, while doubles, triples and quads count as two, three and four symbols respectively. Every time you spin the reels, each position can essentially have up to four symbols on it. A maximum of one hundred symbols can be on the reels at any one time.

This is where things get interesting. You win by forming clusters of eight matching symbols that are on adjacent positions. If you line up two orange quad symbols next to each other, for example, this would count as a win. Likewise, you’d win for landing a square of purple double symbols. The more symbols of the same colour there are in a cluster, the more you’re paid.

Whenever you win, all of the winning symbols vanish from the reels. Then, all symbols directly next to the winning cluster are upgraded: a single becomes a double, a double becomes a triple and a triple becomes a quad. Symbols drop down to fill empty gaps and any new winnings are paid out. This is an avalanche and it gives you the chance to win multiple times from a single spin of the reels. Thanks to the upgrades, you could end up earning some decent payouts.

The slot also comes with some special features, including multipliers, random features and free spins. On any spin, a multiplier of up to x10 can land. Just like crystals, multipliers can be upgraded up to three times each and the most valuable one you can get is a huge x40.
